So it turns out that I use the Internet for a lot of stuff which I sort of...didn't notice. It was extremely difficult to limit my use when I had to do stuff like buy things, send emails to people or whatever.
The experiment is ongoing, and I certainly do have a lot more free time, which is good.
I have been making progress with writing, with my Star Wars costume (I'm making a holdout blaster, it's so cool!) and with a bunch of other stuff.
However, my room is still a mess.
Oh well.
So yes, I have almost a complete absence of Internet activity that's not related to...something useful that I do offline. Which is a good thing indeed.
That said, it means I have no time to do anything but keep up with two webcomics (5 minutes a week) and send emails.
I'll be back after Lent, I hope, but it's been a valuable experience so far.
